The Oldie
Een jaar (12 nrs) voor €97,50
The Oldie is a monthly magazine founded in 1992 by Richard Ingrams, who for 23 years was the editor of Private Eye. The Oldie is an eclectic mix of humour, cartoons, reviews, interviews and eccentricity.
The Independent recently said of us: 'the most original magazine in the country...their eclectic embrace of human variety is a monthly rebuke to the formulaic, celebrity-led concept of features in our newspapers and magazines.'
The novelist PD James called us 'an indispensible antidote to the triviality of the 21st-century'. Terry Wogan also added: 'age only matters if you are a cheese.'
